How do you change the file size of a picture on corel?

I'm trying to make a backround for my bebo, and everytime I upload, a thing comes up that says ';main_bg file size is too large';



....but I don't know how to change it.How do you change the file size of a picture on corel?
JPGs are smaller than BMPs. And smaller pictures have a smaller file size.
