Changing MB size of pictures...?

I am trying to upload pictures of my new daughter unto my fotki page, but I guess the MB size is too much and my fotki page will only allow 50MB total on my account. There are a lot more pictures that I want to put up, but I don't know how to change the MB sizing. I just upload pictures from my camera straight to the computer. I have a Sony DSC-S500 camera. Can anyone help me... thanks.Changing MB size of pictures...?
Most digital cameras do not allow lower MB size photos.

Go to this site and download the freeware:

http://www.xnview.com

Load the photo of your choice. Under 'File' menu,

select 'Save as'. Give a different file name and

click on 'Options'. Select the 'Quality' to be 50

or less. Check the saved image.Changing MB size of pictures...?
You can edit your pictures by changing the size in the RESIZE option in your camera or in the software installed in your computer. Also, when taking pictures to be sent to emails, choose the program in your camera that has the lowest MB option...some cameras are programmed to have a 6millionpixels....you can choose to have the lowest possible pixels which upon sending thru email, the file isnt too large to upload. Good luck!!!
Use the free software irfanview and resize the pics.
well, suggest making copies of originals and backing up as well,

then with copies. use image editing software like photoshop or paint shop pro, or other, if you have already, if not can try using gimp, photobie, or photfiltre,

http://www.photobie.com/

or even image resizer, PIXresizer, Visualizer Photo Resize ,..

now also note what images are, assumption is that they are jpg format for internet use, other are ok, but may not view well yet on web, as for space, site says unlimited, may be referring to limited transfer amount, so try and figure how much images add up to in mb, shrink to allow transfer, and leave extra space for further use,

note: Flickr - Photo Sharing is part of yahoo now and can use for images there as well,

..
I use acdsee to resize all my photos,

first copy all your image to another folder,

then go to acdsee and select all the pics,

then batch resize and select the image size and compress size,

yes, batch, u have no need to save it one by one

you can try 640 pixel in width and save to jpgs in 80%,

50 mb can keep around 80 to 100 pictures,

is that good for you?
