Sony DSC-W50..Change image size?
I have a Sony DSC series digital camera and I used to be able to put them on my computer with a bigger image size so that I could print my pictures and have them come out clear, now all of a sudden when I upload them to ritzpix.com they tell me that my pictures maybe to low quality to print and when I do print they are all pixely... I think I must have changed a setting on my camera by accident, does anyone know how to fix it? ThanksSony DSC-W50..Change image size?
Look through your cameras menu and see where it mentions resolution ... pick Fine Quality Level ... that should result in image files that are 2816 x 2112 pixels in size.
If all else fails, there is a way to reset your menu back to the default settings that came on the camera

There's a part of a music video that I want to paint but I need to figure out how to get it into something that I can print/change the size. I've done it in computers before but I forget how. For either Mac or PC, I've got bothHow do you do the thing where you freeze a page into a document/picture?
Hit the ';Print Screen'; key on your keyboard. It takes a screenshot. You can then paste this into any image editing software, like Photoshop or even MS Paint. There are also software products available that will allow you to extract scenes from an MP4 file or other video formats.

If you have photoshop you can save the file out using ';save for web'; it gives you different options of slightly degraded versions of your picture and you can choose the smallest one. Depending on the picture, I don't notice too much of a difference. Hope this helpedPicture resizing?

You can use PowerPoint's built in Photo Album. In XP/2003 it's under Insert --%26gt; Picture --%26gt; New Photo Album. In 2007, Photo Album should be right on the insert tab.
This will bring all the pictures in to fit the screen (or whatever configuration you want).
Check out this article that has a couple warnings, but basically, I think this will be perfect for you - should do the job in a couple minutes - even re-starting from scratch which is what you'd need to do!

i recant, the 'insert photoalbum' is the best choice and works pretty well.
i'm pretty sure you can't do this. if t]all the pics are exactly the same, you can try to change the size of the slides so they match the size of the pics, but that's about it.
this is to say ion the page set up in file, there is a 'slide size', you'll probably have to play with it a bit and see the results. i've used ifran and it's not bad, but it will change the pics themselves and that doesn't sound like what you'r asking to do. better to leave them as they are nd manipulate them in powerpoint, imho. good luck.

Changing the pixel size of pictures stored on computer?
I need to know how to change the pixel size of pictures that have been transferred over to my computer, I copied them to a disc and tried to print them at Wal-Mart photo kiosk but received a message that the resolution was poor and due to pixel size, I was trying to print 8X10, the only compatible size to print for the pixels is a 4x6 and requirements are an 8X10, I did print one just to see what it looked like but it came out kind of grainy, obviously because of the resolution. This is a 4-H fair entry project. I don't know if this is a camera problem a computer problem or that I downloaded the picasa 3 software and edited. I did check the camera menu and it is set on 7.1 mega pixels.
We did make some edits with picasa 3 software, and my camera is a kodak easyshare model Z710, 7.1 mega pixel, 10X optical zoom.
Please help us,so we can print these for the fair, which is Thursday. One possibility is that several of the pictures are still on my memory card, but I live in the country so won't be going back to town until tomorrow to even see if that works.Changing the pixel size of pictures stored on computer?
Three possibilities:
1. you might have been shooting at a lower resolution and/or file size than the maximum the camera is capable of,
2. You might have cropped out such a small segment of the original image hat there's simply not enough information to produce a decent print size, or
3. You may have inadvertently saved the file in some reduced file size that's specified for web use.
I doubt that there's a problem with either your camera or your computer.

A 7.1 megapixel image will be high enough to produce a 8 x 10 printed image, if it actually is 7.1MP by the time you print it. The most probable explanation is that it got downsized when you edited the photo in picasa, make sure you put it through again and when you save it make sure it is set to full quality settings. If you happened to crop the photo though, then it would reduce the pixel size and there's not much you can do. So you can either use the original image (straight from the camera) or try editing it again in picasa and saving it at full size in picasa. Good luck to you, hope it helps.
