Is it possible to change the mouse cursor into a huge picture, a picture of your own choice, say, your face, from a .jpg or .bmp file, and have that cursor occupy, say, a fifth, a forth, or any fraction of the screen you choose? How is that done?Change mouse cursor into any image and size you like?
Lol, no.
You can change cursors via the ';Mouse'; control panel menu.
The formats supported are .ani and .cur
.ani = animated mouse cursor
.cur = static mouse cursor.
They are limited to a size of 48*48 pixels (I believe).
If you want to make your own, either from scratch or from a external image, you can try Greenfish Icon Editor Pro (freeware). Try googling it up.

XBox 360 HD picture size too big for TV?
My TV is a ';Phillips 34'; HDTV 34PW9817';. When I hook up the component cables to the HD ports the picture looks great but the screen is stretched beyond the borders of the TV. The TV is stuck on Widesceen mode and won't let me change it to anything else. When I go into the 360 menu there are options to change the display but of the four options only two work and both have the same issue. When I hook up the regular composite cables the screen fits perfectly. How can I resolve this?XBox 360 HD picture size too big for TV?
make sure the switch on the xbox cable near the console is in the correct position it will work if it is set to SD but it will cause the problem you are seeing here. it needs to be set to HDTV

How can I shrink my web page (change the size of the page) before publishing it?
I have been teaching myself about webpage design. A friend suggested I use Netscape Communicator because it is a simple program. I made a page with some pictures, they are sized appropriately and the page looks good with one exception -- the page is a bit too large for the monitor and I have to scroll too much when viewing it. Is there a way that I can adjust this without having to start over? I tried table properties but I could not make any changes that way. I appreciate your help.How can I shrink my web page (change the size of the page) before publishing it?
I help you to do this.How can I shrink my web page (change the size of the page) before publishing it?
Sometimes adding the width to the td tag works.
Put in all in a table - Define width of table in pixels - like this:
%26lt;table border=';0'; cellpadding=';0'; align=';center'; width=';800';%26gt;
Resize photos to fit within 800 pixels

Size of scanned picture too much?!HELP!!?
i needed to scan some documents for applications but the scanned pictures are too big in size(in terms of memory)and hence cross the upload limit given in the website. is there any way to reduce the size by say changing its format?if so, how?what software?
btw picture is a .jpg file with resolution(DPI) 300.Size of scanned picture too much?!HELP!!?
It depends what you want to do with the JPG. If you want to keep the dpi at 300 so you can print from the website, then I suggest compressing the JPG's quality until it falls below the website's file requirements.
If you don't want to damage the image's quality with compression, you could try reducing the inch (same as pixel) size of the file--while keeping it at the high JPG quality save and 300 dpi settings.
If you're not going to need the picture for printing, and only want it to display large on the screen, convert the file to 72 dpi and reduce its pixel size accordingly (meaning, after converting to 72 dpi, change the 5000x5000+ pixel image size to something less ridiculous, for instance 800x600).Size of scanned picture too much?!HELP!!?
You can make them smaller in any image editing software.

Price for editing a picture in photoshop?
I got a case of edditing picture by photoshop.
they want me to select the object and paste on a new file also changing the size and the brightness and cotract.
there are 100 picture its for website use.
how much should i charge by pices? or by hour?
it take me 20min to fix one.
thank you!Price for editing a picture in photoshop?
I'd recommend $1 or $2 per picture. This is a fairly simple operation in Photoshop so I wouldn't expect too much more than that to fly. Unless of course the person has no other way to accomplish this task... then you might be able to convince them to pay you more.Price for editing a picture in photoshop?
I don't know how much you should charge, but look into recording Actions and using the Automate - Batch feature in Photoshop. It'll make it go faster.
Printers will charge anywhere from $35.00 per hour to $75.00 depending on reputation. Pick some where in the middle, do a good job and set a minimum of 30 minutes.
So if you select $50.00 an hour for your services they will know the least they will pay is $25.00.
Spell this out on your invoice so there is no confusion later.
Good Luck with the business.
Charge by the hour. No less than $50/hour.
20min for one photo? You are looking at 33.3 hours as the batch/action command in Photoshop won't work if there are any custom selections.
I wouldn't say you are anywhere near good enough to charge any more than $5 / hr. No offence, but you aren't fast enough either to charge anymore than that. From the sounds of it, I could do what you are doing in under 5mins. No business will be able to justify a $25/hr charge when that is almost $1000 on just editing images wich is a joke.
In your case, I'd strongly suggest you charge per image. $2.25 / image would work really well for you.
I agree with Ipshwitz, charge for pictures but just something like $1.5 or $2. That'll keep business coming and if you use the actions, you'll be done in no time.

How to adjust horzontal picture size?
OK I have a 36 inch Panasonic crt tv, after moving from Texas to the mountains in South East Arizona (about a 4000 ft elevation change, my TV has black lines on both sides of the picture. I have taken the back of and fidled with the twisty things on the back of the tube on gotten the picture to move side to side, but not get any wider. Any tips????How to adjust horzontal picture size?
lol!
OK this is very common with this model. If you look on the circuit board, there is a little board that sticks up. Look on that board and there are 2 adjustable pots. They are orange, mess with those, if still nothing then one of the pots are bad, which in most cases need to be replaced.

I am pretty sure you can take the links off, try taking it to walmart or a watch store in one of your malls. I know that my Dad's watch was just like that but too big and my Mom took it to Walmart, it'll work, if not go to the mall they have tons of watch stores there!

There's also what are called hex code generators which give you exact colors if you don't know how to calculate base 16 hexadecimal codes.
and, if you want the links different colors:
At the top of whatever section you are putting the links, put:
%26lt;body link=';whatever color you want';%26gt;(thats what they show up as, default is blue on computers)
%26lt;body vlink=';whatever color you want';%26gt;(that's what color it is after they have clicked on it, default is purple on computers)

When I used the e-mail option in Pictures for the first time it asked me for my POP and SMTP address. Unfortunately I entered the wrong information. good luck...How do I reduce the size of my computer screen so I can see the whole screen without scrolling?
hold ctrl and roll the mouse wheel down
Press your right mouse button on your desktop then select properties.
click on the tab at the top that states '; Settings ';.
Then under setting look at your Color Quality. See if you can set it to 32 bit. If you cannot then you need to update your driver. If you can, once selected, change your screen resolution to the desired size.
Hope this helps
Right click on your desktop with your mouse, if you are running vista or 7 select ';Personalise'; and then select ';Display Settings';
Notice the ';Resolution'; slider bar, move this to the left to decrease the amount of pixels on your screen, and the right to increase them, play with this until you get a comfortable Resolution, if you have a widescreen monitor, make sure the shape of the monitor in the window is widescreen, o things will look squished. If you are running XP or an older version of windows, this process will be only slightly different.
the above answer is correct. You can also hold CTRL+ the + button(no shift necessary) to zoom in or + the - sign to zoom out. That is a Temp fix. You can right click desktop, click properties, click setting and increase it to or above 1024x768

How do i change a digital photo to a 7x7 inches (to print it)?
a have a picture of my puppy that i have to mail in for a contest and it must be a picture that measures 7 inches by 7 inches
how can i change the size?How do i change a digital photo to a 7x7 inches (to print it)?
What size is the original? If it is larger than 7 inches on one side, you will have no problem cropping it to a 7x7 inch, 300 DPI image file ... just remember to save it as a new file name so you do not overwrite the original image.
If your image is smaller than 7 inches on its shortest side, your image may not meet the criteria of the ';contest';
You can download Photoshop for a 30 day trail to accomplish what you need.How do i change a digital photo to a 7x7 inches (to print it)?
Google Picassa is a free download I like alot. it will do no good unless your printer accepts 7x7 photo paper or you are willing to print on copy paper.
hope you two win.
Download Irfanview.com it's free. Use ';resize'; and ';save as';.
You can download a free graphics editor called ';irfanview';. It's free, it's easy to use, and it doesn't install viruses or spyware or sign you up for spam.
Use it to resize your picture until you're happy with it. You may need to shrink it or enlarge it or crop it to get it to the size you want, though.
Most softwares provide option to resize the photos in pixels and not in length and breadth( as you have asked).
I can suggest a simple way to you, and it really works.
I hope you have Microsoft Office 2007.
Step1.Open Microsoft Office Word 2007
Step2.Click on ';Insert'; and then insert the photo you want to resize.
Step3.Click on ';format'; and then on ';crop';(you will find it on the top right corner)
Now crop the photo to make it a square(you will find the menu for dimension in inches just to the right of the ';crop'; menu.)
Step4.Once you have cropped your photo into a square, then using the menu for the dimensions, you can change your photo to 7x7 inches easily.

How can I change the resolution or pixels-per-inc rather than the size of an image?
I need to make my pictures larger without them looking like crap. All blurry and whatnot. Someone said I should change the resolution... For instance. A picture that's 500x500 with the 75 px. Instead of changing that to 3000x3000 inlarging the image and leaving it at 75 px, I should change the px size to 200 or 300 and let eh image inlarge itself so that it doesn't look bad. How do I do this? What prgram can I use.
PLEASE DON'T SAY PHOTOSHOP. I can't get it, I don't have the money. I don't want to even try anymore to get it. lol.How can I change the resolution or pixels-per-inc rather than the size of an image?
use photoshop. lol.
It's simple to do, if you will post your image on a host like tinypic.com and post a link to it i'll fix it for you.
I WIN!! changed the resolution to 500 from about 90 on both

Try the GIMP. http://gimp.org It's free, lots of people use it, and it's just plain awesome.
It can do pretty much everything photoshop can. And you can try to sharpen the image in GIMP by going to filer%26gt;enhance%26gt;sharpen
A higher MP camera.
Try using Paint.net. It is free and very easy to use and has lots of features. I have made some very nice pics using it. You can change the resolution using Paint.net too.
GIMP is the best open source or freeware photo editing and vector application in the net. But of course, Photoshop is the best %26amp; easier to use (maybe because I know it already).
But converting a small resolution image to a larger image, like for example a 500x500 px image with a resolution of 75 px per inch, it will not be as sharp as those photos that is 3000x3000 with at least 100px. Although it will clean the squared pixel, it will still be the same as the original. Especially if you will use it in a large scale printing. But enlarging it to a higher dpi or px will make it better. There is a way to make it clean because it will be as dirty as hell if you zoom it so close, try to duplicate the layer and use blur effect (most people use gaussian blur) then mask it and leave the edges hidden (eyes, lips and edges of the nose). If you don't know how to use mask, Just erase the edges with an eraser tool so that the cheeks, forehead and other plain parts will be blurred %26amp; will look clean.
Well I have enlarged those pics but I had to uploaded them on rapidshare.com coz tinypic.com reduces the size by 50% during the upload.
Here is the link........

Um. I hate to say this but I shall. Can you get them rescanned? When you do pump up the resolution as high as the program will let you -- on my cheap old equipment I can usually get it up to 150 pixels-per-inch and sometimes up to 300.
Then have them saved as gifs, if you can. The resulting files will be HUMOUNGOUS but gif is a lossless format and jpegs is lossy.
Which raises the other point. Changing the resolution will NOT make them larger without making them look like crap. jpeg takes as well to expansion as pcx files do -- not at all. The Gimp is itself an abomination I love to diss on Yahoo! answers even though I'm a Linux guy and it comes installed by default in most Linux distros. It is hard to learn and has insufficient hooks for color printing. For black and white work like this, it might be acceptable. It's still hard to learn but you might as well get it at:

Your procedure is flawed though. You have jpegs. You don't make jpegs bigger without making them look like crap. That's what a lossy format is.

How do you change a kilobyte JPEG into a megabyte JPEG?
I took a picture of one of my paintings on a 6.0 mega pixel camera and the size is 238kb I need to change it to be at least 1mb in order to submit it. Is it possible to change the size like that?How do you change a kilobyte JPEG into a megabyte JPEG?
i dont think it is possible to change the size, but a 6 mp cammer should not have taken that small of a picture, unless it wasnt set for 6mp, best way to up the size, allow more detail in the pic, or get a better cameraHow do you change a kilobyte JPEG into a megabyte JPEG?
Increase the picture quality and resolution settings on the camera. Then re-shoot the photos.
yea download Total Video Convertor (Google it, I love say that lol)
this program lets u convert media between format and you caan change quiality of pictures to better and that means they will take up more space
If you have Photoshop you may be able to do what you want by changing the bit depth from 8 to 16. If it doesn't have to be a JPEG, YOU CAN USE TIFF OR TARGA FORMAT. There aren't a lot of ways to do what you want short of embedding something in the photo. See Steganography
you can easily do it with paint
open your file, then go it Image -%26gt; Stretch/Skew... (or press Ctrl+W) and increase the stretch percentages equally (Note: this is probably the easiest way, but will probably decrease the quality, but it IS 6 megapixels, so it shouldn't be to bad)

Smaller picture size for my website?
I am trying to upload a gallery to my website of my recent photography for my customers; however, I am unable to figure out how to make the pictures smaller because they only load in their original format. Is there any html code I can use to make them smaller, or some sort of html code to make some sort of slideshow that the viewer can change the pace and view of the photos? Thanks!Smaller picture size for my website?
Microsoft's Power Toys (link below) has a HTML Slide Show Wizard that'll resize the pictures for you.
You could also just resize your images and save as the same image name with _sm at the end (e.g. img1111.jpg becomes img1111_sm.jpg).
You can force a resize in HTML by adding height and width properties to the image tag. You can even do this in percentages: height=50% width=50%. Unfortunately, the huge original image still has to be loaded as the resizing will happen on the client side.Smaller picture size for my website?
You just have to use your photo program to resize the images for your site ... I use 600 x 400 images at 72 DPI. My hosting site automatically resizes them if necessary.
Using Bridge (comes with Photoshop CS2 and CS3) you can resize all the images you want to post in a batch, renaming them as a new file name so you don't overwrite your original files. I simply put a small ';i'; in front of the original file name.
The best advice I can give you with your photos on the internet is to resize them smaller in Photoshop or another photo software.
You see everyone views images at 72 dpi on a computer screen. So, even if you have them at 100 dpi or 125 dpi, you cannot see a difference on the screen. However, You will need those photos at a 300 dpi when you go to print them and blow them up to a larger size. And if you place the images on the web at 300 dpi #1 they are a very large size and #2 people can easily steal them and go and print them without your knowledge.

And almost any image management pgm. has an option to ';save for web.'; Use that and your files are automatically reduced to 72 dpi. t\Then you scale them down further if needed.

Editing photos on mac?
I have been looking at a number of different programs for mac for picture editing, but I haven't found one yet (that's free) that can let me change the picture size just by clicking and moving the mouse. Know what I mean? Like say I just want to cut off the bottom of a picture, keeping everything else the same. How can I do that?Editing photos on mac?
Open the Picture file with iPhoto (thats comes preinstalled on your Mac) and use the crop tool.Editing photos on mac?
You can use iPhoto which already comes with your Mac most likely. There's a cropping tool you use to crop out only the part of the picture you want.

How to change A4 size to letter size in PDF format?
I downloaded foxonic professional and its not doing what i want, maybe you didnt understand my question, I got one PDF file, it is an instruction manual for some equipment, I recieved it in A4 size, so all the pictures and words in that manual are everywhere like when i go to one page it gives me half of a picture and when i go to the next it gives me the other half, all i want to do is make it a letter size so it can adjust all the pictures and lettering in that manual.How to change A4 size to letter size in PDF format?
I think the best solution is to reconstruct the content of the PDF file manually with Adobe Acrobat (not reader), but it's difficult and time consuming.
for your question, u can try another solution which Foxonic Professional Edition can provide, that is, join 2 pdf page into 1 and rotate in letter format.
5 steps to join 2 pdf page into 1 and rotate in letter format:
(1) click ';Tools'; -%26gt; ';Settings';.
(2) click ';General'; -%26gt; set building mode to ';All to One'; and set destination PDF file name, location.
(3) set ';Page Options'; -%26gt; set ';Page Size';: Standard: Letter-%26gt; ';Image per Page';: set ';Images';: 2 images; set ';Orders'; -%26gt; ';Across from bottom left';
(4) set ';Image Layout';-%26gt; ';Image Rotation (Counter Clock-Wise)';
-%26gt; ';Rotate all image files:'; set the rotation degrees: 90 degrees.
(5) select source PDF file and click ';Build'; button, then all pages in the source PDF documents will be joined and rotated automatically.

I have an antique photo frame that holds an unusual size of photo. How can I re-size a picture to fit it?
The opening on the frame is an oval. Measurements are 4 1/2 inches at widest point and 7 1/2 inches at tallest point. I know how to use programs to print regular sizes like 5x7 and 8x10, but this is different. When I constrain proportions, it is either too wide, too short, too thin, too long. I want to use my mom and dad's wedding photo, or it wouldn't matter so much. How can I change the photo size without changing their proportions, too?I have an antique photo frame that holds an unusual size of photo. How can I re-size a picture to fit it?
HI,
GO TO A LAB ANB GET THE SCAN DONE, BECAUSE OF UR PIC SIZE ( FRAME) IS SAMLL SO NO NEED TO WORRY ABT THE QUALITY,. IT WILL BE GOOD .
AND TELL THE LAB PEOPLE EXACTLY WHAT U HAVE SAID HERE, THEY TAKE CARE OF IT..IF POSSIBLE TAKE THE FRAME WITH U TO LAB, UR WORK WILL BE DONE,
DONT CUT THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH, ONCE U CUT , ITS FOR EVER,
ONCE U SCAN WITH GOOD QUALITY, U CAN DO ANY THING WITH IT, U CAN PRINT A PIC , WITH UR REQUIRED MEASUREMENTS.I have an antique photo frame that holds an unusual size of photo. How can I re-size a picture to fit it?
Just crop it to match the frame. Take it into your local lab and they can help you order the right size
Yeah, just cut it to size.
B/4 you do anything, You may want to have another copy made...
Back in the early 17 or 1800's there was this amazing invention....They were called scissors! They could help cut things into different sizes and shapes. Amazing!
That is how you could change the photo size......Have you not thought of them at all? Or am I missing something here?
good luck.....
Get your photo scanned, cropped nicely, printed to a good size, and than match the frame and photo with matting to cover the places not otherwise covered in the frame.
I dont know if that will help esthetically, but its a thought.

How to print on 13x19 size paper?
I have a Canon i9900 which is capable of printing on large paper, made a collage of pictures/quotes in various programs, changing paper size to 13x19 in both program and printer set up. Keep getting message that printer is unable to print that size. Dowloaded new drivers, no help. Any ideas??How to print on 13x19 size paper?
Hi
Make sure the software you are using is set to Large format. If you installed the correct drivers , when you go to the preferences or page layout, you should see Super B which is the 13x19 or Large format setting.
Secondly, you can print borderless on 13 x 19 and for borderless printing, you can use a slider to specify how far to enlarge the image to cover the page borders. However, it lacks an interactive preview, so you won't be able to see where the new image borders will lie.
You can print 12 x 18 full bleed. This will give you a 1/4'; margin all around but it's better than nothing LOL.
Also, set the correct orientation of your paper. Usually in large format, you have to use landscape in your graphic software. Then use the printer settings to print it in portrait.
The main problem is your software and not the printer. Finally, the drawback to this printer is that it can reliably feed only one 13 x 19 at a time.How to print on 13x19 size paper?
In borderless printing, margins in the printable area are set to 0 mm. (The paper sizes usable with borderless printing are A4, Letter, 4';x6';, and 5';x7'; only.)
Other wise you will load your paper the same way
Make sure that in all your settings and page layouts you have your sizing set to super B3.

How can you change the size of the pixels so you can upload to a website?
Hello
I'm a newby at doing a website. Have uploaded the website but the photos and themes (background) are not coming through.
I was wondering how to make the pixels of the photos smaller so when people look/upload the site it doen't take forever?
Should the picture be tranfered to paint then saved? and how do you do that? when I try the picture gets smaller and some of the picture gets cutout.
Or is there a programme to help with editing pictures then to upload to my website
Any thoughts how to do this would be great.
ThanxHow can you change the size of the pixels so you can upload to a website?
Try to use background colors instead, or small, tile able images. Use appropriate format for images: jpg for images with lots of colors, gif for images with areas that are the same color. Never use the width and height attributes in img tags, re-size them in a graphics editor such as gimp and photoshop.
Websites that have many images and fast to load are easy to make, if you know what you are doing.How can you change the size of the pixels so you can upload to a website?
thank you all for your imput, but i found a great site for my question. It is a free download called image resizer in Microsoft Powertools website. Great website.
Use this FREE software to change the size of your pix before putting them on your web pages.
http://gimp.org/
Remember that there are 2 ';sizes'; for pictures. One is the size you look at and one is the size of the file. File size is what takes so long to load. Try to keep under 100KB

Use this FREE software to change the size of your pix before putting them on your web pages.

Remember that there are 2 ';sizes'; for pictures. One is the size you look at and one is the size of the file. File size is what takes so long to load. Try to keep under 100KB
Making a picture a background in CSS, but furthermore changing the size of the pic by using code. Possible?
Hello, What I would like to do is turn a picture into a background image, but say the picture is 1000, 1500 I want to be able to use some code to automatically make the picture say 1024 by 780 can I do this? how so? Even more If the window is small can I make it so the picture is fully displayed modified so that it is the full thing but scaled down and as the window is resized, have the background image resized?
Thanks,

After much research, and the great input of other posters who have visited this need in the past, I think I've figured out another way to resize user pictures in nodes and comments. (this is intended for 4.7 only)
We SHOULD be able to resize user pictures using CSS. This offloads the task of resizing to the user's browser, rather than the Drupal server. Unfortunately we can't resize user pictures because of the way Drupal themes them.
Drupal wraps the img with a div, having the class of .picture. If we try to add a size attribute to this class, it fails, because the default size of the img object nested inside the div takes precedence. What we need is a class on the img itself, then we can resize it in style.css.
To do this, we need to override the Drupal function that formats the user picture. This function is found in the profiles module and is called theme_user_picture(). Since this is a themable function, we can override it in the template.php file in the default theme directory. This new function moves the .picture class from the div that wraps the image to the img object itself.
Here's the new function to add to template.php:
%26lt;?php
function phptemplate_user_picture($account) {
if (variable_get('user_pictures', 0)) {
if ($account-%26gt;picture %26amp;%26amp; file_exists($account-%26gt;picture)) {
$picture = file_create_url($account-%26gt;picture);
}
else if (variable_get('user_picture_default', '')) {
$picture = variable_get('user_picture_default', '');
}
if (isset($picture)) {
$alt = t('%user\'s picture', array('%user' =%26gt; $account-%26gt;name ?
$account-%26gt;name : variable_get('anonymous', 'Anonymous')));
//Pass class attribute to theme function
$attributes = array('class' =%26gt; 'picture');
$picture = theme('image', $picture, $alt, $alt, $attributes, false);
if (!empty($account-%26gt;uid) %26amp;%26amp; user_access('access user profiles')) {
$picture = l($picture, ';user/$account-%26gt;uid';, array('title' =%26gt;
t('View user profile.')), NULL, NULL, FALSE, TRUE);
}
return ';$picture';;
}
}
}
?%26gt;
Once this is done, the .picture class will be attached to the img object. Any existing .picture formatting will still function properly. At this point, you should not notice any changes in your formatting.
To change user picture size, add the width attribute to the .picture class in style.css. (note, you can use ems rather than px for the width if you'd like your user picture to resize with font size)
.node .picture {
border: 1px solid #ddd;
float: right;
margin: 0.5em;
width: 35px;
}
Or whatever width you want. A height attribute isn't necessary cause it will default to auto.
That's it! Regardless of the original size of your user's picture, you'll be able to resize it to fit your needs. You can allow larger user pictures which will display better if you use the author information block.
Some people want a different size user picture on nodes or blogs vs. comments or forum posts. If so, you can also create custom sizes for each node type. How? By creatiing a nesting CSS definition. The only problem is, the default node.tpl.php (in bluemarine at least) does not apply a unique CSS class to the node. All nodes are wrapped with a div with the class of .node (or node-sticky)
To fix this situation, create a tpl.php file for each node type you want to format uniquely. (for example, node-blog.tpl.php)
Then alter the beginning of the code to:
%26lt;div class=';node node-blog%26lt;?php if ($sticky)..........
You now have a unique class just for node-blogs. Now you can create a new contextual CSS definition in style.css similar to this:
.node-blog .picture {
border: 1px solid #ddd;
float: right;
margin: 0.5em;
width: 35px;
}
Only .picture classes nested within .node-blog classes will be affected by this attribute.
My regular nodes now have very small avatars, my forum posts larger, and the author information block larger still.
NOTE: by uniquely identifying node types with their own class, you can easily apply custom formatting to different node types by using the contextual selector CSS definition type.Making a picture a background in CSS, but furthermore changing the size of the pic by using code. Possible?

How can I reduce the size of my pictures?
If I have taken photos on a 5 mega pixel digital camera - how do I change the size so I can post them on a website? My photos are about 1.43 mb and need to be much less! They are saved in pictures in my documents!How can I reduce the size of my pictures?
Here is a fistful of free applications. GIMP is similar to Photoshop but just browse the complete list and take your pick.

Open your photo and Save for Web - this will really reduce the size.

If youare on WinXP go to MS and download the XP Power toys Picture resizer - that will do them in bulk for you.
Open with Windows Picture Manager
Go to Edit Photo
And click on compress
Use irfanview, http://www.irfanview.com/, to resize them
Right click on the photo select resize picture and then choose (box opens) which size you want 800x600 will give a reasonable size..
Use a good quality resizer such as PIXresizer - free here

I use the good old Microsoft Paintbrush (which usually comes as standard on most pc's). Open Paintbrush. Open the picture. From the toolbar, select IMAGE. From the drop-down menu select STRETCH/SCEW. In the STRECTCH area, change to percentage to any size you want. It's best if you start by chosing 80% then work your way down until the picture is the size you want. This is very simple and it's free.

Hey, i recenty started a website and now i need to add pictures. How do i resize and change pixle size?
FROM MY WEB HOST:
Email me 4 pictures to replace the 4 images on the splash screen. They will need to be 578x383 pixels and named intro-image1.jpg, intro-image2.jpg, intro-image3.jpg, intro-image4.jpg. These will be the images your website visitors see as they enter your site.
Make a copy of these images and resize them to 266x130 and name them header-left1.jpg, header-left2.jpg, header-left3.jpg, header-left4.jpg. These will become the images on the top (banner) section of all of your internal pages. You can always add applications later.
How do i do this?? please help me...Hey, i recenty started a website and now i need to add pictures. How do i resize and change pixle size?
Your going to need an image editing program that has the capability to show you the size of your photos in pixels. Sometimes you get image editing software that comes with a camera or something but a lot of times that is not software that has such a specific capability. You can crop and cut but you don't necessarily know what size your image is once you are done.
A program such as Photoshop will allow you to change your image sizes and will measure in formats of inches, centimeters, milimetres, or pixels depending on what you specify. However, such image editing software is really pricey usually running over $700 for a new program. My advice to you would be to find a friend or someone willing to help you who already has such software and can make the image size changes for you. Otherwise you may be able to contact a print house or graphics designer and maybe they can do it for you for a fee. I really don't know what other solution there may be.Hey, i recenty started a website and now i need to add pictures. How do i resize and change pixle size?
The resizing you want is not equal percentages of width and height, so you will need to go into an image-editor and crop the images to size, deciding yourself which parts of the images to crop off, then build html and/or css to place the images properly

The actual clasp itself on the watch is adjustable as is the wristband on this one. The links on the band with arrows indicate where pins can be removed and replaced to take a link out of the band to make it shorter. The clasp can be adjusted by moving the pin holding it on the band to another set of holes in that row of holes to make it shorter or longer as needed. It's pretty simple to do if you have some small tools but if not, a jeweler could do it for you in a matter of minutes.hair show

Why does my printer only print pictures to the full size of the paper on a mac?
Alright so I have a mac and I'm definitely not computer savvy. It hooks up to my printer fine and prints everything okay, but when I print pictures it automatically blows it up to fit the page, when I don't want it that way. On a PC I knew how to change printer settings, with a printer preview or something, but I have no idea how to change the size, or see the settings/what it will look like on paper before I print it. Help?Why does my printer only print pictures to the full size of the paper on a mac?

How can I solve this MSN problem?
I use MSN, and I know you can send pictures, music and videos to whoever you're chatting with. In fact, I do this sometimes. However, one of my friends just created her account (About a week ago). When I chat with her, these options are not available. I also cannot draw pictures, change my font and size, and cannot invite other people into the conversation. I am sure that this problem has to do with the new person's account, because these options are available when I chat with others. Can it have something to do with the fact that she has just created her account?How can I solve this MSN problem?
No, but it has something to do with the version of messenger she's using or maybe she didn't bother downloading messenger and is using ebuddy or the like. (her version doesn't support those options)How can I solve this MSN problem?
It depends on what version of the MSN messenger she's using. The newest so far is 9.0.
dont worry - its all her problem - not yours.
she probably has handwriting disabled or using an old version.
Sounds to me that your friend is using an old version of msn messenger.
Tell your friend to download the current version that's out right now.
she may not have msn. The real name for msn is windows live messenger. Get her to do this: click the messenger icon so it opens to the sign in page. On the top toolbar click Help %26gt;About. Confirm that it is Windows Live Messenger, version 8.02 or better.

On the status bar below the website, it says javascript;, and the picture won't open in a new window in full size. It does absolutely nothing. Since you just installed IE 7, it may have JavaScript turned off in Internet Options. Go to Control panel%26gt;Internet Options. Click on Security tab and then click the Custom level button. Scroll down to Scripting and make sure it is enabled.
If you are having problems after this, try downloading and using Firefox. Then check same site and picture's)

Picture not big enough for custom myspace layout?
Hi guys, I've been trying to make my own layout with one of those custom layout generators. The problem is when I put the picture URL in and create the layout, the picture isn't big enought to fill the whole screen. The picture fills up about 3/4 of the background, and the other 1/4 is just gray color. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? I tried changing the picture resolution higher and changing the image size(width, heighth) but nothing's working. I don't want to have the picture repeat itself either (tiles). Thanks so much :]Picture not big enough for custom myspace layout?
Where did you alter the width and the height?
Before saving the image?, Did you do this right?
Whatever the size, when the image is saved,
Is the size as a background, that it must remain.
But if it is placed, in the foreground instead,
You can alter with style, and the image can spread.
I don't know which one, this layout thing does,
I can not figure this out, from the question above.
To this layout code maker, can you give a link?
And one to your image, would be good I think.
Then I can see what the problem might be,
And why the first answer, was not what you need?Picture not big enough for custom myspace layout?

How to change the icon size of links on desktop of windows 7?
Hi, I use windows 7 on my laptop and sometimes when I move my mouse upward on the screen the icons get smaller (as in any folders,programs) the little pictures get smaller. I would like to know how to make them bigger again? (moving the mouse downward doesn't work for those of you who would say that) ThanksHow to change the icon size of links on desktop of windows 7?
Right click and go to view and choose which size icons you want.How to change the icon size of links on desktop of windows 7?
Display in Windows 7 allows you to make the text and other items, such as icons, on your screen easier to see by making them larger. You can do this without changing the screen resolution of your display. This allows you to increase or decrease the size of text and other items on your screen while keeping your display set to its optimal resolution.
Let's see how to change Display in Windows 7:
1. Click the Start and then choose the Control Panel option.
2. Control Panel window opens up. Click Display.
3. Choose one of the following:
Smaller - 100%. This keeps text and other items at normal size.
Medium - 125%. This sets text and other items to 125% of normal size.
Larger - 150%. This sets text and other items to 150% of normal size. This option appears only if your monitor supports a resolution of at least 1200 x 900 pixels.
Choose Larger - 150% and Click Apply.

How to change the quality in a JPG picture on the computer?
I have a bunch of JPG pictures on my comp. but they look pretty bad in quality. I have heard and somewhat read that they are bad in quality like that because it has to do something with the compressed size of it. I think I read that if you make the picture not compressed in size it will look much better. How do you do this?How to change the quality in a JPG picture on the computer?
BS. What you see is what you get. You might adjust contrast and brightness levels but if the actual pic is poor, you wont make it any better. You cant restore something that isnt there.How to change the quality in a JPG picture on the computer?
You don't. JPG compression makes the picture file size smaller by removing data from the picture. You cannot put that data back, you would need a high quality original to start with.
Adobe Photoshop CS 2,3,or 4
will enable you to set to several different .jpg formats using Save AS/

How do I change an image from JPEG to TIF?
How do I reduce the size of a picture?
If I have a 10.5 MB BMP file picture that measures 3149 x 3639, how can I reduce it to 750 KB?
How do I change a JPEG picture to a TIF picture?How do I change an image from JPEG to TIF?
Wow! That's a pretty big file. First of all, you need to shrink it down substantially. Open ';Paint'; (Start-%26gt;All Programs-%26gt;Accessories-%26gt;Paint). Open your file. Click Ctrl+W to open the Stretch/Skew window. You should see an option for horizontal skew, and vertical skew. Change them both to about 25%. The image should shrink. Save the file as a JPG.
TIF files are enormous, so you really want to avoid them if your concerned about file size. JPGs are always the best bet.
If you have access to Photoshop, when you save a JPG file, it allows you to choose a compression level. If you choose 10, it reduces the file size a great deal without really affecting the image quality.How do I change an image from JPEG to TIF?
open using paint, then Save as- make sure to change it to tif
depending what pic programs your using
go to file at top of page and go[ save as] ther is a box at the bottom under the name of the file and it lets you choose what type of file you want to save it as.
For the large BMP file, you can use save for web in adobe photoshop, choose optimized and select the new image size and check the file size below the image to make sure it is below 750 KB. You can also save the file type as JPEG or GIF.
To convert JPEG to TIF use save as and type in TIF file type in adobe photoshop or any image editing software.
use ms paint, save it as .tifcat

How can I change resolution of a photo to reduce file size but increase size of the photo?
I have to mail some documents to some one which consist of 144 pages so how can I change the size of the file.I got suggestion that I should change the resolution but I don't know how to change the resolution. I am also told to send bigger picture to reduce resolution. how is this done ?How can I change resolution of a photo to reduce file size but increase size of the photo?
Use this program

open the software, double click the pic
under menu image, change the ';convert to colors'; to lower level, will lower the resolution,
under menu image, choose resize...
this software is free too.How can I change resolution of a photo to reduce file size but increase size of the photo?
Open Photoshop if you have it.
Open the photo in Photoshop.
Click ';Save As';, in the options, there are options to choose the file size of the saved file. Choose one (low, medium or high) and save it. Send that photo file.
You can use Photoshop %26amp; adjust the resolution %26amp; the size. Depending on what the pic is used for is how high you would need the resolution. For instance, you can save a pic for the web at a resolution of 72, %26amp; the pic would be very large %26amp; just fine for the web. But if you planned on making that pic into a t-shirt design (which would be 200-300 dpi), the file would be larger. You may want to zip your file %26amp; send through a site like www.yousendit.com if you don't have the time to reduce the size of the pics. Also you can go to www.imageshack.us %26amp; they will resize them for you (as well as give a link to the pic).
Here's what you do. (PHOTOSHOP NOT NEEDED) Your photos are saved on your computer right? Right click it, Then click on 'Resize Pictures' and what it does, is reduces the file size..but makes the photo either a small photo, medium, or large picture sized photo. Then when you have decided, and you proceed, it saves your old pictures, and creates brand new JPG files with the diff. file size n resolution. So that if you screw up, you dont actually mess up ur photos..you have the originals saved still.
I make videos for events, and many times I use pictures... I take photographs at the events using a large resolution then do what i stated above, it lowers the file size but doesn't effect the quality of your photo.

iPhoto and image resizing
July 16, 2004
I’m not quite sure when it happened (sometime ≥ v4.0), but iPhoto has finally fixed the non-anti-aliasing of exported photos. This makes my life a tad bit easier. The following steps are those that I used to take to get photos up on this site:
Create a temp folder in iPhoto.
Copy to this folder all of the pictures from the latest trip/event/whatever that I want to put up on the site.
Go to the temp folder and remove all of the photos that I know I’m not going to use on the site.
Sort the remaining photos in the order that I want.
Tag these photos with the “web” keyword (more about this here) for future reference.
Export them from iPhoto with no resizing and where the filenames are based on the album name. This will export the images with numbers that correlate to the order that you have them laid out in iPhoto (e.g., temp-01.jpg, temp-02.jpg, etc).
Use QuickName (or whatever you like) to remove “temp-” from the front of the filenames. I’ve found no way to get iPhoto to use only sequential numbers in the filenames (i.e., without a title preceding the number).
Use Photoshop to batch-resize the pictures to the size that I want for the website (currently 500×375).
Create a new folder on my webserver for the pics and drop them in there along with my Slideshow script.
Think about a faster, more efficient way to do this.

Using HTML, how do I change the size of an image for my myspace page?
I'm trying to make my 800x600 background picture fill up the entire background. How do I do this?Using HTML, how do I change the size of an image for my myspace page?
You can't change the pixel dimensions. The only way to make it cover the background completely is to have it repeat across and down the page. Try using the Myspace Editor for that. Just click the Customize tab and go to Background to select it and set the repeat pattern.
http://profileedit.myspace.com/index.cfm鈥?/a>Using HTML, how do I change the size of an image for my myspace page?
Download IrfanView
Upload the image onto IrfanView, and shorten it to 800x600, then save to ''My Pictures'' or any folder that is designated for pictures...now if you have a photobucket account, upload the picture on to photobucket.com..if you dont have an account, go ahead and make one, once you upload the picture, click on it from your album, so it enlarges, and right click and save to my pictures and that should work.
yes you can change the pixels, i do it all the time
%26lt;img src='; PHOTO URL HERE'; width=';NEW WIDTH HERE'; length';NEW LENGTH HERE';%26gt;
also be sur that your new dimensions are even or its gonna look all cracked out...say if its 800x600 make it 1000x800 or 1200x1000...u have to add the same amount to both sides.

Picture size on LG Chocolate phone?
I just got a replacement for my LG Chocolate cell phone. The picture size on the replacement (same exact phone) is smaller than the picture size on my old LG. It's just annoying when I go to make one of my pictures my background, because instead of having the picture take up the whole screen, there are two big white bars on the top %26amp; bottom of the screen. I've tried changing the resolution size, but even the highest resolution (1280x960) yields the same result. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm assuming that it can be adjusted because it stretched on my old Chocolate. Thanks!Picture size on LG Chocolate phone?

this really sucks.

well ok.
thanks anyways.Picture size on LG Chocolate phone?
That's what you get for buying that phone. It is neither a good phone nor a good MP3 player. Take it back to where you got it and heve them adjust it if that is even possible. I've seen numerous articals and trade bulletins about the Chocolate and it simply is a lousy product. Good luck!

save it under jpg
Change the image size. I don't know what programs you might have that would allow you to do this, so you might have to find an online uploading thing that resizes your photo. Search in google for that.
If you have windows xp, open the file in microsoft PictureIt, then hit format, then resize image , easy, then save it.
Use a photo editing program (Adobe Photoshop, ArcSoft Photo Studio Suite, Corel PhotoPaint) and change the image size - make it smaller.
You need a program called Paint shop Pro. You can download it from www.download.com
You can change the pic format, filesize, and resolution. And much much more. enjoy!
Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.

In MS Frontpage, why do the cells in my table randomly change size when inserting an image?
Hello. I have made a brand new layout in photoshop 7.0, and am currently attempting to use the sliced graphics in my frontpage design. I need to use frontpage because that is the software that my client is familiar with. I am in charge of the design, and he takes it from there.
Anyways, when I make a table in MS Frontpage, and then insert an image into a cell, it distorts the cell pixel dimensions. My cells are set to lock at a 50px by 50px dimension, and my header image is 500x100. Therefore, I assumed that I would merge the first 10 cells in the first two rows, making one large 500x100 cell. That worked fine.
When I inserted my image, however, the cell completely through out everything I had just done, and nearly doubled in sixe for no apparent reason. Why is this and how do I fix it?
I tried using the picture toolbar to freely position the image myself, but when I preview the site in IE, it looks completely wrong, so that won't work.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!In MS Frontpage, why do the cells in my table randomly change size when inserting an image?
Without seeing your code, I can't be specific.
That said, most likely you have applied a style or formatting to the cell in which spanning the cells is not changing the padding or spacing of the cells, or the margin is not properly set.
Also, given FrontPage's proclivity for assassinating HTML, it's possible it is adding attributes to your cells or table that are blowing everything up.
My advice would be to go ahead and design the site in an editor you like. Then, open your finished product in FrontPage, save the page one more time, and open it to make sure everything works fine.
If it does, great. If not, you might want to try to pursuade your client to switch to Expression, which is Microsoft's new Web editor and a far superior product to FrontPage. which is simply awful in every way.

If it does, great. If not, you might want to try to pursuade your client to switch to Expression, which is Microsoft's new Web editor and a far superior product to FrontPage. which is simply awful in every way.

There is something different about the 2 browsers that isn't IE's issue. Under the google bar on your laptop there is another bar that looks like some sort of tabs or something. That's some sort of third party software integrated with IE. That's probably causing your issue.
Do yourself a favor and get firefox or opera browsers. They are more secure and safer. Both also have spell checkers :-)
Click on View%26gt;Text Size%26gt;largest.
Then refresh.
Have a nice Day.
You need to click on view, text size and then choose your options....
Look at the right corner of your Internet explorer. There is a zoom sign with a number. beside it there is a small triangle (toward downwar direction),click on it.....and change the appearence size.......

Uploading large pictures?
I like to edit a lot of things in photoshop, and then put the pictures up on facebook, deviantart ect. Sometime's the picture will upload, but the problem is sometime's I get this error message saying the file is to big- my question is..how can you change the pictures size [for example on facebook it has to be 4mb's or less] without changing the actual comoposition?Uploading large pictures?
Under the save menu in Photoshop, go to ';save for web'; and choose if you want the image small, medium or large. I go for the smallest one that maintains decent detail to keep people form stealing images for prints.
Oh yes, and change the file name, so it won't replace the original on your hard drive.Uploading large pictures?
if you are using photoshop just change the size in photoshop in the drop down (images) under image size. Once you have it loaded you can always change the size back.
When you save, choose ';Save as...'; and you can then set the compression level. If you keep it at the highest quality (least compression, which is 12 in Photoshop Elements 5.0), it will be a large file. If you set the quality lower, it will show you the new smaller file size. Just keep dropping the quality until it meets the file size requirements. You won't have to drop it far - like maybe 10 instead of 12. It's still called ';Maximum'; quality at 10. It won't really change the quality of the image too much to its detriment, especially for your purposes of uploading to these sites.
these are all good suggestions, but... one of the easiest things you can do (to post on the web) is to reduce the DPI/resolution to 72. it won't affect the quality of your photos one bit and will drastically reduce the file size!
First of all, let's consider your format of the file. Jpeg always compresses a file some, but will have the lowest size for uploading. Personally, as a graphic designer, I do not want compressed files, so I save my files as tiffs.
Next, lets look at the resolution of the file鈥攖he ppi, or ';pixels per inch.'; If you were going to print a full color document using this art, you would want the resolution to be set at 300 ppi (not dpi), however if you are just going to post it on the web, you will only need the usual 72 ppi. That in itself will make a considerable difference in the final size of the file.
Last, but not least, if your photo is still over 4 mb, and you have the ppi at 72, you will have to downsize the photo to a smaller size.
So, there you have the 3 items that you must consider.
Best wishes, and have fun with Photoshop!

How do you change the screen size on a Sony Ericsson W580i?
I replaced the LCD screen in my phone (carefully following instructions) but now the screen size or resolution is wrong. Everything from the main screen to the menu and all my pictures are way too big. In the menu all of the options are squashed together.
How can I change this? And although I appreciate all help I should let you know I'm not good at these things so if you can, simplify it for me.
Thanks.How do you change the screen size on a Sony Ericsson W580i?
go into setting ----then General ----then setup wizard --this will hopefully give you the defaults back again.
However if its still a problem , get a software upgrade ,either download to your pc and transfer--or do it via your phones internet connection.
Hope this helps.............also try SonyEricssons web site.

Changing MB size of pictures...?
I am trying to upload pictures of my new daughter unto my fotki page, but I guess the MB size is too much and my fotki page will only allow 50MB total on my account. There are a lot more pictures that I want to put up, but I don't know how to change the MB sizing. I just upload pictures from my camera straight to the computer. I have a Sony DSC-S500 camera. Can anyone help me... thanks.Changing MB size of pictures...?
Most digital cameras do not allow lower MB size photos.
Go to this site and download the freeware:
http://www.xnview.com
Load the photo of your choice. Under 'File' menu,
select 'Save as'. Give a different file name and
click on 'Options'. Select the 'Quality' to be 50
or less. Check the saved image.Changing MB size of pictures...?
You can edit your pictures by changing the size in the RESIZE option in your camera or in the software installed in your computer. Also, when taking pictures to be sent to emails, choose the program in your camera that has the lowest MB option...some cameras are programmed to have a 6millionpixels....you can choose to have the lowest possible pixels which upon sending thru email, the file isnt too large to upload. Good luck!!!
Use the free software irfanview and resize the pics.
well, suggest making copies of originals and backing up as well,
then with copies. use image editing software like photoshop or paint shop pro, or other, if you have already, if not can try using gimp, photobie, or photfiltre,
http://www.gimp.org/
http://www.photobie.com/
http://photofiltre.free.fr/frames_en.htm
or even image resizer, PIXresizer, Visualizer Photo Resize ,..
http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/gmm/fw鈥?/a>
now also note what images are, assumption is that they are jpg format for internet use, other are ok, but may not view well yet on web, as for space, site says unlimited, may be referring to limited transfer amount, so try and figure how much images add up to in mb, shrink to allow transfer, and leave extra space for further use,
note: Flickr - Photo Sharing is part of yahoo now and can use for images there as well,
http://www.flickr.com/
..
I use acdsee to resize all my photos,
first copy all your image to another folder,
then go to acdsee and select all the pics,
then batch resize and select the image size and compress size,
yes, batch, u have no need to save it one by one
you can try 640 pixel in width and save to jpgs in 80%,
50 mb can keep around 80 to 100 pictures,
is that good for you?

Change the width to whatever size you like.
If you have any further questions check out the detailed tutorials at http://www.OurAwesomeWorld.comHow do i change the size of my friends Pictures on myspace?? 10 points!!!?
It more or less depends on the layout. If this layout is off of a website, then it has a small picture box. If you look around and know anything about the coding you could play around with it. Other than that, if you're looking to resize a picture you put it on your computer and find your program for editing and resize it.
Hope I helped a little.

How do you change the size of an image to upload it to myspace without getting that program it says to?
I have several pictures that I want on there that are too big. How can I resave them as smaller without the program IrfanView MySpace says to get?How do you change the size of an image to upload it to myspace without getting that program it says to?
The best way to resize is by using tags. To do this it is better to upload your pics to another repository for example photobucket.
http://photobucket.com/
Then when you edit your profile you can use the ';tag'; from photobucket in your myspace account. Here is an example of a tag:
%26lt;a href=';http://photobucket.com'; target=';_blank';%26gt;%26lt;img src=';http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/鈥?border=';0'; alt=';Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting';%26gt;%26lt;/a%26gt;
To change the size in this for example you would type height=';200'; width=';160'; afyter the tag for border.
That resizes your pic to 200 pixels by 160 pixels. Just remember to keep your aspect ratio correct otherwise it will loook squashed or stretched. All my images on myspace are held on photobucket. Here is my page if you want to look....

How do i use irfanview 3.99 to change the file size of pictures?
Several options:
Save as menue, decrease colors, enhance colors ....
There are a some mime types ( file endings ) that permit e. g.
reduced quality ( either less colors or better compression )
use them (e. g. png, gif, jpg ...) with reduced values.
Example png or gif with reduced number of colors.
(for a number of things about 40 colors, else try 4 good values)
jpg increased compression.
( for a number of things about 70%, else try 4 good values )
Always shop around and try 4 a value that suits You needs.How do i use irfanview 3.99 to change the file size of pictures?
Open the image you want to resize
Go to 'Image' at the top
Click on 'Resize/Resample'
Here you can either 'Set New Size' by specifying the exact width and height in pixels, or choose 'Set New Size as Percentage of Original' - I usually go with the second option.
If you don't like the changes you made go to Edit and Undo and try again.

How do I change the screen size on my laptop?
I just got a Sony Vaio and it has Windows Vista on it. When I first set it up the entire screen was filled with my desktop. Then when I turned it on yesterday the desktop size has been reduced and there is now a black bar on each side of the picture (like wide screen but on the sides instead of top and bottom.) I can't find anywhere to change the setting for screen width. Does anyone know how to do this?How do I change the screen size on my laptop?

Hi,
Visit esupport.sony.com and select your model and read the manuals and tutorials
You may also reset the screen. Look for a reset button on the monitor
you should have some bottons on side of your laptop that adjust the screen size.try to do that.

TV picture not to size of screen?
Hey, i have a Phillips big screen TV (don't know model, will edit to what it is if someone tells me where to find it)
But anyways, dad sat on controls, and now TV picture doesn't fit the entire screen. I tried changing the picture (switching to panorama, 4:3, wide screen etc) and none fully fit to size. Anyone know how to fix this? sorry if question is a little vague.TV picture not to size of screen?
Nothing wrong with it. You are watching a HD channel, but the program is not being broadcast in HD. Just leave your aspect set at Full or 16:9.TV picture not to size of screen?
It doesn't have a 16:9 aspect ratio? That's what most run on. Also, sometimes separate from the aspect ratio there is a zoom view option, either on remote or in menu. But it sounds like it needs to be on 16:9, however I could use a bit more detail. Is it stretched, or are there black bars on top/bottom or sides of the picture? It's hard to say without knowing what it looks like.

When connecting laptop to TV by hdmi, the screen, TV cuts out half the screen?
How do I get my widescreen on my TV, cause the TV cuts out the bottom tabs of my computer so I cant see everything. My computer is 15.4';. I changed the picture size on my TV and still cuts out the tabs.When connecting laptop to TV by hdmi, the screen, TV cuts out half the screen?
On the computer you might need to change the video output. Even though they are smaller screens, computer screens tend to run at higher resolutions then TVs. It could also be that the computer is running at an odd resolution that TVs are not meant too use.
If your TV is an HDTV Set the computer's video output to either 1280脳720 (720P) or If it's FULL HDTV then set to 1920x1080(1080P)
If it's an SDTV then set to one of the following depending on where you live
720脳576 Used on D1/DV PAL (UK and most of Europe)
704脳576 Used on EDTV PAL
720脳480 Used on DV NTSC (USA)
720脳486 Used on D1 NTSC
704脳480 Used on EDTV NTSC
